Alan Walker 

Architect

Alan works for ShapiroCM as an Engineering Support Contractor (ESC) at the US Department of Labor office of Job Corps in Arlington, Virginia. Previously, he worked as a Facility Surveyor in the West and Midwest Regions, and a Project Manager in the Boston Region - all for Job Corps.

 

Alan also served as Project Manager for a Nanotechnology Building and a Synchrotron Light Source for the Department of Energy. He was the Project Architect for the Rochester, New York stadium that is home to the Red Wings Triple-A minor league baseball team. Also in Rochester, Alan served as a Facility Architect for Eastman Kodak and Xerox. 

Alan holds a Bachelor of Professional Studies (BPS) in Architecture from the University of Buffalo (SUNY Buffalo) and an Associates of Applies Sciences (AAS) Degree in Architecture from Alfred State College (SUNY Alfred). He is a licensed and registered architect in New York and Virginia. He is also a LEED Accredited Professional. 

Alan is a Civil War Reenactor representing a Union Regiment from Monroe County, New York called the 140th NYVI. It's a hobby he has enjoyed for more than 25 years!
