We are currently seeking a Construction Project Manager/Inspector to join our Border Patrol Station team. Our team's priorities are:
Delivering the project on time and in budget for clients
Providing added value, when possible, to build client relationships
Developing and inspire other members of the team
Being attentive to follow on business opportunities resulting from client satisfaction
Applying new technology and data to improve productivity and quality of work
Overcoming challenges associated with delivering a project in a remote environment
Willingness to work in/experience working in remote location
Project Manager/Inspectors will manage Land Port of Entry projects and oversee all onsite work during design and construction phases as well as closeout. Support the client to reach project goals. Build relationships with colleagues and support the growth of colleagues.
What this job involves
Managing industry changing projects
As a CM/Inspector for ShapiroCM, you will be directly responsible for leading and delivering challenging projects. Your strong knowledge of construction projects from start to finish will speak to your ability to push the business forward through innovative and industry changing ideas. You will contribute to the development of project budgeting and scheduling and overseeing the strategy and execution through completion of construction. You will be focused on the client experience by providing innovative solutions to conflicting priorities.
Knowledge of delivering projects in remote areas of Upstate New York and New England will be helpful.
Creating strategic and collaborative solutions
You are an individual who sees the big picture, acts decisively, and focuses on creating an energized and collaborative environment. As a Project Manager, you will contribute to the establishment and refinement of work quality, cultural initiatives, and best practices to drive results as a team. You will also contribute to developing successful, diverse teams through inclusive and thoughtful means of communication. Success will be measured by your ability to develop winning strategies for project execution.

Education and experience
A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management is preferred
(5+) years of relevant experience related to project or construction management.
Commercial or public construction project management experience required
A relationship builder
Both verbal and written communication skills are vital, and, of course you'll be good at establishing relationships with all levels of the organization & external clients.
The design and construction industries are consistently changing with technology. You'll need to make technology work to your advantage. You must demonstrate proficiency in the use and application of project management technology tools and continually seek opportunities to develop your skillset.
