Position Title: Project Engineer (Far Hills, NJ)

Salary: $100,131/Annually

Job Duties:

Perform civil engineering functions supporting institutional building construction and rehabilitation projects, including projects associated with the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA). Evaluate existing building conditions and interpret field conditions to determine appropriate engineering and construction solutions. Assess structural repair needs and environmental factors and apply civil engineering principles to develop safe, feasible, and code-compliant construction approaches for occupied residential buildings.

Prepare and review project contract documents including scope of work, technical procedures, narratives, and construction bulletins. Coordinate with designers, contractors, and project representatives to ensure compliance with NYCHA standards, the NYC Building Code, and applicable engineering specifications. Conduct technical design and constructability reviews of contract drawings, shop drawings, and construction submittals to verify compliance with engineering requirements and identify interdisciplinary conflicts.

Analyze contractor-prepared construction schedules using Primavera P6 to evaluate sequencing, activity durations, and critical path impacts. Review Requests for Information (RFIs) and construction change orders for technical and engineering impact. Prepare engineering analysis reports and project status reports. Collect and analyze project data across multiple construction projects and support multidisciplinary coordination including structural, environmental, and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) building systems.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent).

Knowledge of construction engineering and management, construction project controls, construction regulations, and

Primavera scheduling.

Position Title: Project Manager/Inspector (NY Metro area)

Salary: $135,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year

 

Job Description:

Our Firm seeks a construction project manager who has experience working on capital projects for Public Agencies in same PM capacity to be a project manager/inspector on a contract to provide CM services for multiple projects at locations in Manhattan, Long Island and Newark, NJ.

The Project Manager for this Contract shall have a college degree (bachelor) in an Architecture, Engineering, or Construction discipline. The Project Manager should have at least ten (10) years of construction project management experience managing projects relevant to this Contract.

Relevant project experience would include the following:

• Fire Alarm Repairs/Upgrades/Replacements

• Switchgear Replacement

• Building Envelope Repairs/Replacement

• BMS Replacement

• Elevator Replacement/Modernization

• Projects performed in an occupied office building, that maintained business operations during construction;

• Projects performed in buildings with more than 2 floors.

• Projects performed for the Federal Government.

• For similar projects over $1,000,000

This position will require a minimum of residency for the last three years in the United States - for credentialing.

Project Manager/On-Site – St. Croix, VI

Salary: $120,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year

Job description:

On-Site Project Manager - The Project Manager shall have a 4-year degree in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management, have 5 years’ experience in construction management, and shall have served as Project Manager on at least one project with a minimum construction cost of $500,000.

 

Project is a roofing upgrade project for the US Federal Building on St. Croix. PM will be on-site during all construction activities. Must be familiar with project management software; experience with Kahua is preferred. Experience with prior Federal projects also preferred.
