​​​​​​​​​​Position Title: Project Manager/Inspector – New York City Metro

 

Job Description:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of construction project management experience or as a Certified Construction Manager (CCM) in interior construction projects

  • Shall have managed the design review and the construction phase of at least one project with a minimum construction cost at completion of $1.5 million.

  • Shall also possess experience managing SCIF projects of at least 2 projects in the last 5 years.

  • Demonstrate the ability to manage the project staff and the quality of work to meet client and stakeholder requirements.

  • Shall have performed field supervision, construction quality control inspection and coordination of various disciplines on at least one project with a minimum cost at completion of $1.5M

  • Demonstrate the ability to interact with inspectors, solve problems, keep records, and comprehend and document client’s procedures and requirements.

  • Must be present and on-site while construction activity is taking place throughout the DB Contractor Construction Phase.

  • Must be willing to cover off-hours construction if necessary.

Position Title: Construction Project Manager – Silver Spring, MD

​​

Job Description:

  • Minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience in the field of federal government real estate, construction management on similar projects demonstrating knowledge in scheduling, safety compliance (OSHA), contractors/subcontractor’s coordination, and technical knowledge of building codes.

  • Extensive experience working on a research center campus with mission-critical support facilities, demonstrating the ability to operate in environments where reliability, safety and specialized infrastructure and ability to work with the facility O&M contractor and leveraging internal and external relationships between stakeholders to achieve business objectives are paramount.

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or architecture from an accredited University in the U.S. or Territory is required.

  • Extensive knowledge of construction administration to include [Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing system work, intergraded building systems, BLS3 Labs, projects historic preservation, abatement, etc.].

  • Extensive experience in reviewing contractor shop drawings and submittals

  • Have hands-on experience managing construction projects in mechanical rooms and operating in confined areas with tight tolerances.

  • Experience with PBS Interim Core Building Standards and code compliance requirements

  • Experience working on design-bid and design-build projects

  • Preferred to have a minimum of 10 years’ experience construction quality management experience.

  • Extensive hands-on experience managing construction projects in critical mission support facilities and secure work environments, commensurate with a minimum of 10 years work construction management experience in secure work environments and facilities.

  • Extensive experience working with GSA-on-GSA-managed construction projects
