Current Searches:

Senior Cost Estimator (Washington, DC):
  • Review contract drawings

  • Participate in site and facilities investigations

  • Use Means cost data and market research to prepare estimates for design and construction projects

  • Review cost estimates and cost proposals

  • Prepare cost estimates and technical analysis and participate in negotiations.

  • Provide IGE's, ROM estimates, Fair & Reasonable Reviews, CILP budget estimates, and reconciliation & reviews of AJE and CM estimates.

  • Project types include: small projects, capital projects, repair & alterations, master plans, leases,

  • Conceptual estimates require drawing out information from client and/or developing scope of work to be estimated.

  • Review proposed change orders advise if price is fair and reasonable for scope of work, and coordinate through all phases of construction for speedy resolutions of change orders.

  • Prepare justification for variance in estimates.

  • Construction estimates based on completed design plans.

Experience Required:

  • 10-20 years experience in estimating or design and site construction management

  • BS in engineering

  • Ability to work independently without direct supervision

  • Ability to read, interpret and comprehend engineering specifications, process design drawings and contracts

  • Ability to enter data into a combination of spreadsheet and database software programs.

  • Ability to document and organize a complex stream of information and paperwork quickly.

  • Field experience and completed projects.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong presentation skills and interpersonal communication and team management skills also required.

  • U.S. Citizen or authorized to work in the US.

Preferred:

  • Candidates with HSPD clearance and/or experience working for GSA.

Project Superintendent Inspector (NY)
  • Possesses a minimum 5-10 years of experience managing/inspecting building construction projects in Mechanical Engineering.

  • College level Mechanical Engineering degree or coursework.

  • Monitors work by contractors for compliance with contract plans and specifications, prevailing wage and site safety requirements.

  • Monitors contractor labor force.

  • Formulates punch lists and monitors contractors' completion of work.

 

College degree and Asbestos Handlers License preferred.

 
Construction Field Inspector (NY/NJ Metro Area):
  • Possesses a minimum 3-5 years of experience managing/inspecting building construction projects across all trades.

  • Monitors work by contractors for compliance with contract plans and specifications, prevailing wage and site safety requirements.

  • Monitors contractor labor force.

  • Formulates punch lists and monitors contractors' completion of work.

College degree and Site Safety and Hazmat certifications preferred

Construction Project Manager (NY/NJ Metro Area):
  • Possesses a minimum 8-10 years of federal and/or private sector building construction management including: project planning, programming, cost estimating, design review, procurement support, budgeting, construction administration, cost management, and post-construction support.

  • Knowledge of construction documents.

  • Management and communication skills.

  • Ability to manage projects of varying complexity including multi-phase projects in design and construction.

CMAA Certified Construction Manager (CCM), federal project experience and federal security clearance preferred. 

Construction Project Manager (Washington, DC):
  • Possesses a minimum 8-10 years of federal and/or private sector building construction management including: project planning, programming, cost estimating, design review, procurement support, budgeting, construction administration, cost management, and post-construction support.

  • Knowledge of construction documents.

  • Management and communication skills.

  • Ability to manage projects of varying complexity including multi-phase projects in design and construction.
