Mark joined ShapiroCM in September 2023, bringing a strong background in hospital architecture, medical equipment, LEAN principles, and Integrated Project Delivery. He is a Registered Architect with over 40 years of experience in the design, documentation, and construction management of highly complex and technologically advanced buildings. His work requires a deep understanding of building systems and their coordination—including MEP, IT, and equipment integration. As a project manager, Mark’s focus is to align owners, architects, and contractors to proactively resolve potential issues before they become permanent, while maintaining clear and fluid communication among all parties.

Noteworthy

Mark has contributed to projects internationally in Beijing, Hong Kong, and Singapore, as well as domestically on the development and replacement of complex hospitals. Notably, he has been a patient in a procedure room he personally designed and managed through construction to occupancy. His favorite expression is “Cool, Calm, Constructed.”
