George Brodish
Senior Project Manager

George joined the ShapiroCM team in 2021 on a project for the New York City Housing Authority. His past experience includes building new, ground-up residential buildings, gut rehabs of existing residential and commercial buildings, repair of structural concrete in parking garages, and complete rehab and upgrades of residential apartments. George also has a mechanical background in performing boiler upgrades with interior chimney liners, repair/replacement of cooling towers, upgrade of elevators, and replacement of existing heating lines in a fully occupied residential building in mid-town Manhattan. He has worked on historical landmark buildings both in the private and public sector. He has project executive experience working for a GC and has performed buildout of commercial office spaces, restaurants and hotels. George has worked for many New York City and state agencies, such as NYC Transit, NYCHA, NYC School Construction Authority, NYC Department of Design and Construction, and the Port Authority of NY/NJ. He also served as a Branch Manager for environmental firms and has experience in lead-based paint, asbestos, underground storage tanks, and remediation of soil and water. He believes his greatest achievement was when he was personally called upon to serve as a consultant to the Port Authority of NY/NJ when they performed the renovation and reconstruction of the Exchange Place Station in Jersey City, NJ, and the PATH tubes under the Hudson River after the collapse of the World Trader Centers on 9/11.
