ShapiroCM’s New York City project team is proud to have completed upgrades at a senior center on Manhattan’s Lower East Side. The facility is considered one of the city’s premier senior center, having run innovative programs for the last 60 years. The center is known for its coveted meal service, which should be a whole lot easier to manage now that this project is complete.
The Scope of work included renovation of the kitchen, 4 bathrooms, replacement of the chimney liner, and upgrades to lighting & the fire alarm system. It is one of five projects of its kind to be completed by ShapiroCM.
With cooperation from the client and contractors, the final stage of the project was safely completed while managing the restrictions prompted by COVID-19 virus prevention measures
