Executive Vice President Rob Lautato, CCM

Rob has been on Long Island, NY his whole life. After graduating college in 1992 with an architectural degree, he began working in the construction field and hasn’t left since. Prior to joining ShapiroCM, he worked at Tishman, just like our founder, Jay.

He started with the firm over 15 years ago as a Project Manager on a GSA project and has been steadily managing this important federal client up to today and hopefully well into the future. Rob has proudly passed the prestigious CCM exam and feels that working with the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) to improve daily life for folks living in low-income housing is extremely meaningful to his work.

Rob is married to a mechanical engineer and is a father of four. In his “spare” time, he loves playing guitar, kayaking and hiking national parks. Sadly, however, Rob’s a long-suffering NY Jets fan.

Day-today, Rob is busy checking in with project managers and personnel at our job sites, writing proposals, and touching every division of ShapiroCM. With a wonderful sense of humor and decades of expertise, he brings ShapiroCM’s signature humanity to both our staff and our clients.
