Meet Julia Williamson, ShapiroCM’s Business Manager!
Julia is a graduate of Rutgers University and originally joined the Shapiro team as an intern. Her standout work ethic eventually led to a full-time position, and she recently celebrated seven years with the firm.
Each day, Julia strives to make complex things like benefits and payroll as simple and stress-free as possible. She also works closely with clients on invoicing, funding requests, and other administrative needs, with a focus on building relationships and keeping processes running smoothly. As she says, if she's able to make one person’s workday a little easier, that’s a success in her book.
As a kid growing up in Central New Jersey, Julia worked a variety of jobs: at a baseball complex, multiple restaurants and even an apple farm. Those experiences taught her about the value of customer service, teamwork and adaptability – values that are put into play daily here at Shapiro. During her internship with the firm, Julia discovered a passion for the business side of the work, leading her to pursue an unexpected but rewarding career path.
Julia resides in Central PA and is married to an owner-operator truck driver. They have two male dogs, a toddler named Walker, and are expecting their second son later this fall. But, with a love for interior design, Julia enjoys adding a few feminine touches to balance out the dirt and trucks!
In her spare time, Julia loves gardening (“my perennial flowers and vegetable plants are basically my second kids!”); reading (she recommends “The Correspondent”); and looks forward to her annual trip to North Topsail Beach, North Carolina all year long.
Our firm prides itself on building relationships while building structures. The rapport and trust Julia has built with coworkers and clients alike is exactly what makes her an integral part of the ShapiroCM team, and we are grateful to have her!
